For our client, an IT company, we are looking for a person for the position:
QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST
remote work
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Software to test is written in: Front-End: Angular 8, TypeScript, SCSS ; Back-End: Serverless and Java ; Mobile: Ionic and native ; Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Continuous Integration and Deployment on Jenkins / Code-Build ; Tests to perform: o Automated o Manual ; No initial requirement for testing framework. g. Proficiency in Cypress is a plus
- 2 years of experience with testing web applications
- Strong knowledge in scenario development and test automation.
- Independent and a source of proposals and inspiration.
- Pay great attention to detail.
- Some system admin and scripting skills would be appreciated
- Being ready to travel few times a year for planning sessions (2-5 days)
- English level - B2
- Independent and self-confident
- Work well in a remote team
